If someone had asked ten years ago, "What do you want your life to look like ten years from now?" I would have described my life exactly, right down to the mum's in a pumpkin as the centerpiece of my dining room table :D I have an incredible husband and three gorgeous wonderful kids whom I can't imagine my life without. We live in a little yellow house on three acres, less than a mile from my parents, our wonderful church, and Target. My life is full of love and joy and peace, friends and family and precious babies every couple of years! Just in the last 5 years I've gained and lost 45 pounds 3 times - pretty impressive.
So, evaluation time: "What do you want your life to look like ten years from now?" Ten years from now I'll be 38 and I'll have a 14 year old, 12 year old, 10 year old and potentially (if my husband gets his way) an 8 year old and a six year old! I'd like to have an organized, functioning, flowing home so my five children can live in a peaceful, happy environment with a peaceful, happy mom. I'd like to be officially done gaining and losing those blasted 45 pounds so I can pare my wardrobe down to one size (instead of the pre/present/post pregnancy wardrobe which now crowds my closets). I'd like to be deeper in love with my Savior and training my children to follow Him whole heartedly. I'd like to be making my own "green" cleaning products and preparing all organic, healthy, made from scratch meals for my family. So, that's the surface plan...because he who fails to plan, plans to fail. Happy Birthday to me!

That's so true! If someone would have asked ME what you would be like ten years down the road I would've said, "She'll make cute stuff, like some mums in a pumpkin." Among other wonderful attributes you possess. Happy Birthday.:)
You're awesome...I have a feeling that in 10 years, you'll have everything right in place and some of that WAY before 10 years! You are an inspiration to me as a mom and wife...God has used you to stretch me and grow me in the short time that I have known you! You're a great friend!! AND... AAAHHHH, I'll be 40 in 10 years. Do you think that time will fly as fast as the last 10 years???
