"My Pleasure"

Hudson is four now, so he's big enough to get the ice and water out of the fridge himself.  And he can screw the lid on and off his cup without help.  He informed me of all this this morning.  So, this afternoon David handed him Pierce's cup and asked him to get Pierce a drink.  Hudson gladly followed directions (who knew this would be so exciting?!) and handed the cup to Pierce.  My good manner drilling is paying off.  Pierce said, "Fank you, Hudson," and Hudson responded, "My pleasure."  So proud of my future Chick-fil-A employee.  :)

"My Pleasure"? That's hilarious.
Isn't it nice when they can keep themselves busy HELPING you, instead of pulling on your clothing and whining while you take too long trying to get it all done. Lunch is SO much more enjoyable to prepare now. Riley always chooses to eat pbj because she can fix it herself.
Those boys crack me up.

My favorite will always be, "The parade was not awesome. It was worse." I was laughing about that all day!
